Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of TinMic, the TinMic website, checkout, license validation, update delivery, support, and related services. TinMic is provided by Dominion Solutions LLC. By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using TinMic, you agree to these terms and the TinMic End-User License Agreement presented with the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase TinMic. If you use TinMic for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
License
TinMic grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on the number of devices included in your plan. The Regular plan includes one device per license. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, lease, share license keys publicly, bypass license validation, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly allows it, or use TinMic to build a competing product.
Trial, subscription, and billing
TinMic offers a 14-day free trial. Paid plans renew monthly or annually until canceled. You may cancel from the Stripe-hosted customer portal at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future billing periods. Stripe processes payment details. TinMic does not store full payment card numbers.
Refunds
Refunds are available within 14 days of your first paid charge. Email support@tin-mic.com with your license key and purchase email. When a refund is issued, the related license may be disabled.
Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to transcribe audio you do not have the right to record. You are responsible for complying with recording, consent, privacy, employment, professional, and data protection laws that apply to your use of dictation or transcription.
TinMic is not designed for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk use where inaccurate transcription could cause harm.
Email and communications
We send transactional email needed to operate the service, including download links, license keys, receipts, support replies, promo invite notices, waitlist confirmations, account-security messages, and subscription notices. We do not send unsolicited bulk email or use purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party recipient lists. You can opt out of non-essential product updates.
Updates, privacy, and availability
TinMic may contact our servers for license validation, update checks, release notes, and authorized downloads. Core speech-to-text processing runs locally, but licensing, checkout, updates, support, and download services depend on third-party infrastructure and may be unavailable from time to time. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Liability and changes
The software is provided "as is." TinMic is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. To the fullest extent allowed by law, TinMic's total liability for any claim related to the software or services is limited to the amount you paid for TinMic during the 12 months before the claim. We may update these terms as the product, infrastructure, pricing, or legal requirements change.
